First-year university student, bootcamp learner, and someone who's decided the best way to learn design is to keep shipping small, honest projects in public.

I'm Oben Nathan Orie, a first-year university student currently working through a web design bootcamp alongside my degree. I like that design sits right between logic and creativity — you're solving a problem, but you also get to make it feel good to use.
Most of what's here is recent. I'd rather show real progress — half-finished ideas, small wins, things I'd redo differently now — than pretend I've got it all figured out. That's kind of the point of a first portfolio.
Learned semantic markup, the box model, flexbox and grid. Built my first static pages.
Practiced mobile-first design and shipped the Café Landing Page project.
Started DOM manipulation and events — currently building the Habit Tracker project.
Design principles, wireframing, and prototyping in Figma.
Design and build a full site from scratch, start to finish.
I'm always open to feedback on my work, small freelance projects, or just talking design with people further along than me.
